JUNIOR HONOR CHOIR

 

​South Dakota Junior Honor Choir 2025 will take place in Rapid City on January 17-18, 2025. The event is open for auditions to any current choir singer in grades 7-9 whose director is a member of SD-ACDA. Auditions will be held at the start of the 2024-25 school year. The audition window will be open from early September through the first week of October. The audition consists of singing a scale, America, and a short passage of a selection from one repertoire selection. Details of that repertoire will be determined over the summer. Auditions are recorded by the teacher and uploaded to a portal for the judges. Notification of selection will take place in November.
